Job Description
The Sales & Project Coordinator works with the SafanDarley North American team and our distributor network. They answer calls into the sales department and assist distributors, customers, and colleagues with sales-related and customer service questions. They also provide project management support for the service and automated solutions teams. This position also interacts with our manufacturing sites in the Netherlands and with our distributors managing orders from proposal to delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, exceptional communication, attention to detail, self-management, personal accountability, strong initiative, and persistence.
Essential Functions
- Creation of proposals for our sales network.
- Entering equipment and software orders into our systems.
- Following up on requests from our sales network.
- Communicating with colleagues in the Netherlands on project status.
- Support marketing initiatives.
- Facilitate visits to our offices for our sales network and customers.
- Manage machine inventory and share updates to our sales network.
- Support service and automated solutions with administrative and project management tasks.
Additional Responsibilities
- Lead the project management for the annual FabTech trade show to keep all parties on task and on schedule.
- Assist with lead distribution from marketing initiatives.
- Scheduling demos for customers - in person, video and remote.
- Preparing the needed materials for Distributor open houses or related events
- Managing the purchase order and invoicing functions for the team.
Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent work experience.
- Five or more years of related experience.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills required.
- Strong computer skills, advanced knowledge of Excel a plus.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions and percentages.
- Ability to apply concepts of algebra and geometry.
- Ability to read and interpret legal documents and financials.
- Experience with project management and related tools.
- Demonstrated team player.
- Knowledge of the fabrication industry a plus.
- Language skills in Spanish and French would be considered a plus.
